Emma at Work
The founder and partner of Commenda, Frederik Redelé, recently became Treasurer of Emma at Work, a non-profit job agency for young people with a chronic illness. The Emma at Work foundation was launched in 2006 after the Emma Children’s Hospital AMC won the Care Innovation Award in 2005 for the idea of a job agency for young people with a chronic illness. The underlying philosophy is, in addition to medical care, to provide social care through Emma at Work to the many young people who have fallen behind their peers due to their illness. By being actively involved, Commenda is able to share its financial knowhow and resources with Emma at Work.
